Mary graduated from The Cortiva Institute in 2011. Her work combines Swedish massage, myofascial release and neuromuscular massage. She also has additional training in Thai bodywork, the ancient healing art of Thailand. In 2013 Mary became a certified Orthopedic Massage Therapist. She is currently training to become a Registered Yoga Teacher.
Mary is passionate about helping the human body retain its natural mobility, and about helping her clients experience the joy of movement, and life, without pain. Her work combines range of motion, muscle and fascial treatment, and relaxation. She believes the true power of massage lies in deeply relaxing the body so it can begin to heal itself.
Mary uses an intuitive process coupled with advanced knowledge of anatomy to provide sessions uniquely tailored to each client’s individual needs. She has a special interest in working with people who have fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, headaches/migraines and TMJ disfunction.
