After personally experiencing the benefits of massage therapy in healing chronic pain, Mary left her first career as a graphic designer and entered the wellness industry to help others heal and achieve balance.
Mary has a strong foundation in Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release and neuromuscular massage. She has additional training in Thai bodywork, the ancient healing art of Thailand. She also has extra training in Orthopedic Massage to treat common chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries.
A dancer from a young age, Mary is passionate about helping the human body retain its natural mobility. Her work combines range of motion, muscle and fascial treatment, and relaxation. She believes the true power of massage lies in deeply relaxing the body so it can begin to heal itself. She uses an intuitive process coupled with advanced knowledge of anatomy to provide sessions uniquely tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Mary believes that massage therapy plays a crucial role in health care and that massage can combat chronic pain conditions and prevent countless others. She has a special interest in working with people who have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, chronic headaches or Parkinson’s disease.
